C and R offers rebuilt tubular ice makers as well as new tubular ice makers. Rebuilt tubular ice makers go thru an extensive rebuilding process as follows.
For package ice makers-
- Ice maker evaporator tubes are checked and replaced as necessary
- Ice maker condenser tubes are reconditioned and replaced as necessary
- Compressor and compressor motor reconditioned
- All refrigeration valves are reconditioned and replaced as required.
- Control panel is reconditioned and parts replaced as required.
- All ice maker piping is carefully checked
- Ice maker cutter is disassembled and reconditioned
- Water pump and cutter motor reconditioned.
- Ice maker is reassembled and cleaned and painted.
- Ice maker assembly is pressure tested for 72 hours
- Ice maker assembly has vacuum test for 48 hours.
Rebuilt ice makers are available in 5 ton, 10 ton, 20 ton, 40 ton and 75ton/24hour capacities.
