Evaporator
Refrigeration effect for the MINI-IQF freezer is created by use of plate finned coil heat exchanger. Refrigerant is circulated through the coil to absorb the heat from the product and other sources in the operation of the freezer.
Defrost System
Water defrost is standard, hot gas is optional at added cost. Defrost timing is dependent upon product, plant conditions, etc.
Freezer Fans
Air is distributed and circulated over the coil and through the product belts using axial fans, directly connected to an electric motor. Fans are selected and operated to provide maximum effectiveness both for refrigerant coil and product heat exchange.
Conveyor System
- Intralox Poly-acetal belting systems
- Each belt is driven by sprockets, using hydraulic motors. Each motor is controlled with variable control valves to provide desired exposure time.
- The hydraulic system is complete with tank, pump, relief valves, as required for good operation.
- Conveyor mesh is handled through the tunnel using stainless support structure.
- UHMW bearings, stainless shafting is used throughout the conveyor system. This combination virtually eliminates bearing failure and subsequent damage.
Freezer Enclosure
The system is built with a hot dip galvanized steel structural base. Interior skin is stainless steel, welded gas tight, and is fully insulated with 5" polyurethane, and vapor barrier. The freezer doors are stainless steel, located as required for access and maintenance. The exterior is clad with either stainless or glassboard panels, with stainless battens and screws.
Electrical Control Panel
The panel will be located at the discharge end of the system, and will include starters and controls for all motors and other items requiring such control. All possible internal wiring will be factory installed, requiring only power and control connections. (Note: the panel may be shipped loose for field mount if desired).
Refrigeration System Includes:
Package Refrigeration System. Skid mounted system to include a new screw compressor package, high-pressure receiver, accumulator and evaporative condenser. Valves, pipe controls for R-22 or ammonia service.
Normal ship time is 12 to 14 weeks.
